Privacy Policy
Updated October 22, 2026. Moddy processes your account email, password hash, Twitch authorization, and chat events to provide moderation. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Chat content is not used to train models.
Temporary by default
Normal chat context expires after at most 10 minutes under the default platform cap. Copied incident text is capped at 24 hours and is optional. Raw content is stored separately from incident metadata. Potential personal information is redacted in previews.
Identifiable moderation history is disabled by default until an operator records an applicable rights basis and sets a platform cap. Longer selectable product durations do not grant permission. Aggregated channel counts contain no chatter identifiers.
Deletion and control
Disconnect Twitch or delete your account to remove associated active records and caches. Twitch deletion events invalidate cached content. Verified user or platform erasure requests can be processed by an administrator. Contact us to verify your identity; knowing a user ID alone is insufficient.
Expired content is hidden even before scheduled cleanup. Backup copies require operator-managed expiry and deletion replay; see the deployment retention policy. No third-party AI API receives chat content.
Before public launch
The operator must publish their legal identity, jurisdiction, lawful basis, processor details, international transfer information, complaint process, and final backup schedule. This MVP policy describes software behavior and requires operator review.
Contact the operator for access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.
